Licensed Appraiser

Authorization: Allows an individual to appraise real property consisting of 1-4 residential units with a transaction value under $1,000,000, and real property units with a transaction value of less than $250,000.

Experience Criterion: 2,000 hours of experience over a period of not less than 24 months is required, 75% (1,500 hours) of which must be from appraisals of residential properties listed on the Appraisal Experience Report.

Educational Requirements: Complete the required 150 hours of class then take the State exam.
