* If you have completed the 45 hours but need 30 hours to meet the new license requirement cost is $150.00 and we plan to start July1st.

The Five Steps to Receiving Your License:

1. Register for class at REEDC 407 Ave. P in Brooklyn or 39-07 Prince Street #4E , Flushing, Queens .
2. Start the course any day and obtain your School Certificate from Real Estate Education Center.
3. Successfully complete the N.Y. State Test , a two-hour exam given each Tuesday in Lower Manhattan . Real Estate Education Center fully prepares you for this test.
4. Find a real estate office "sponsoring broker" where you will work and be supervised as a salesperson or go to: http://www.reedc.com/jobs/
5. File your license application in person with the Department of State in lower Manhattan , or send it to Albany for processing and receive it by mail at your Broker's Office, and you are now a Real Estate Salesperson!

New York State License Law at a Glance!

Anyone who wishes to sell, lease or rent another person's real property for a fee or commission must be licensed as either a Real Estate Broker or a Real Estate Salesperson. A Broker may open and operate an office while a Salesperson may work only under the supervision of a Broker. Unless a person has at least two years of prior active real estate experience, anyone wishing to become a licensed Broker must begin as a Salesperson. In order to become a licensed Salesperson you must take a 75-hour Salesperson licensing qualifying course. For further information see the NY State web site

Real Estate Education Center Offers!

Real Estate Education Center licensing course is fully approved by the Department of State. Classes meet mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends . Our unique schedule allows you to begin classes at any time. Students must complete 75 hours with 4.5 maximum hours absent. Upon passing the school test, you will receive a certificate of completion. You may finish in just 6 class days or up to 4 weeks or even longer.

6 DAYS - Three days a week for Two weeks:
Begin class and finish in just 6 school days! (Take morning [9 am], afternoon [1 pm] and finish by 5:30 pm)

6 DAYS - Saturdays and Sundays for Three weekends:
Begin class and finish in just 3 consecutive weekends! (Take morning [9 am], afternoon [1 pm] and finish by 5:30 pm)

12 DAYS - Four weeks evenings:
Begin class and finish in just 12 consecutive Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays! (Take evening [6 pm])
